85% and new media about Born to Serve
about 5 years ago – Mon, Jan 28, 2019 at 09:32:46 AM

Hello Heroes!

We are very happy to report that we have crossed the 85% mark! Thank you all for helping Born to Serve to get so close to funding this quickly. It seems we are very much on course to fund which is spectacular news.

We have been out there also spreading the word about Born to Serve and, there is a new cool podcast and video to check out.

First, Blake Leafty of Getting Geeky with Gamer Leaf and Diane had a great a podcast all about Born to Serve that you can listen to by clicking the link.

Additionally,  Gamers on Games sat down with Diane at Pax Unplugged at the Shoot Again Games booth to talk about Born to Serve. That video is below.

I would be remiss to not mention that Born to Serve was selected as one of the Kickstarter games of the month by Casal Game Revolution. You can check that out HERE.

Since I have you all here, I wanted to ask what if anything, more you want to see from us. A kickstarter live event of some kind, a discussion about hero powers or the staff, strategy, or maybe the three different variants beyond the normal game you can play with Born to Serve?  Please let us know. Also, as always if you have any questions please post them in the comments section. Thank you all!

Funding Goal Defeated!
about 5 years ago – Mon, Jan 28, 2019 at 09:32:42 AM

 Heroes,

We have beaten the funding goal and still have 11 days of fight left! This is amazing. Thank you all! With the remaining time we can certainly knock out a few stretch goals starting with our first which features a new hero named Junkyard Dog.

You might not know that the Tremendous Ten started out as the Tremendous Three with Junkyard Dog as one of those original members (any guesses on the other two?). He has since moved on, but can be summoned when needed.

Junkyard Dog's powers revolve around his incredible strength, his immense ability to  intimidate, and his not so incredible intelligence. Though to be fair, he did start out as an average canine.

This stretch goal includes Junkyard Dog's hero tile and his hero selection card. As for what's coming after we reach $7000 and unlock Junkyard Dog let's just say it will be time for some just desserts.

Please, continue to share Born to Serve in the appropriate venues and once again thank each and everyone of you for your incredible support.

Born to Serve is Off to an Incredible Start!
over 5 years ago – Mon, Jan 14, 2019 at 03:34:21 AM

Hello Heroes!

We are just at the 24 hour mark concluding Born to Serve's first day and we did very well reaching over 60% of our goal on day one. This is very much due in part to all of your great support not only by pledging on Day 1, but by sharing and talking about Born to Serve on social media. So, we want to give you all a heartfelt thanks for your support of Born to Serve.

We have several stretch goals planned starting with a new hero tile which is teased on the main page and, if we keep rolling along we should easily make at least a few of them. So, if you can continue to share Born to Serve  on social media that would be a huge help and greatly appreciated in unlocking the stretch goals.

This guy is our first stretch goal!
This guy is our first stretch goal!

I will be posting a hero's origin with each update. If you have an opinion of whose origin you would like to see first, please post it here or in the comments section. Today we are starting off with Nuclear Nelly since she is the only hero whose color print and original art have been pledged for already.

If any of you have any questions or comments please head to the comments section of the campaign page and we will get back to you promptly. Again, we really appreciate and thank our backers who are the true heroes of the Born to Serve story.
